21 complaints taken up at Jansamwad Kendra

Ranchi: A total of 21 complaints were taken up during the weekly review of the complaints registered at the Jansamwad Kendra located at the Suchna Bhawan here.

The complaints were taken up by Special Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Ramakant Singh who on a complaint from Rajganj of Dhanbad district directed the officials to ensure compensation to the farmers whose crops had destroyed due to poor quality of seeds supplied to them by the local pac's in 2013-14.

He also directed the district drinking water and sanitation department of West Singbhum and Dumka districts to make a list of homes located in Shankarpur village of Jarmundi block of Dumka and Buddahatu village of Khuntpani block of West Singhbhum where toilets have not been constructed in the homes of the people.

Another complaint was registered by Bhola Mahto and others of Basiya village under Balumath block of Latehar district who said that seven years ago their land was required for the Tori Shivpur railway line project but till now the compensation has not been paid over which Mr Singh directed the officials to ensure that the compensation is paid within a week.

Following a complaint from Deoghar district where it was appointed that a sub Health Care Centre was functioning in the house of one Lalit Kumar Singh in Kukraha village under Sarath block for the last 15 years and the rent had not been paid by the Health Department over which he directed to ensure that rent is paid to the house owner within 15 days.

Over a complaint from Chandankyari block of Bokaro district where it was pointed that a person had forcibly captured a couple of hand pumps in Mahaal Panchayat, he directed the officials to register the FIR against the person and bring out the hand pumps from the boundary wall of the person concerned.

Various other complaints related to pending honorarium pending payment for transportation allowance pending salary and pension and those related to old age pension were also taken up during the review program over which Mr Singh directed the nodal officers to take immediate action.
