
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has claimed that more than seven MLAs of the BJP are in touch with the party and soon they would take a major political step which will be visible on Badlao Rally to be held on October 19 in Ranchi.
Addressing a press conference here party’s general Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said that all adivasi and moolvasi MLAs are against the policies of Chief Minister Raghubar Das and before the elections will take a major step.
He said that such MLAs of the BJP have held several rounds of talks with Hemant Soren and other leaders of the party organisation. He said that even Mr Das has realised that his ground is shaking and it was due to this reason national president Amit Shah has cancelled his visit as he has become aware of the fact.
The five MLAs of the Kolhan who were allegedly reported by some section of media to be in talks with the BJP also were present in the press conference including Deepak Biruwa, Niral Purty, Dasrath Gagrai, Sashibhushan Samad and Joba Manjhi while MLA Kunal Sadangi could not come due to ill health of his father.
Supriyo said that despite maintaining that Raghubar Das will be the face of Chief Minister in the state the BJP has lost its ground in Kolhan and was facing identity crisis, therefore, he has left Kolhan and was sitting in Santhal Pargana. He said that all dreams of Chief Minister Raghubar Das of coming back to power will be dashed to the ground.
MLA Deepak Biruwa said BJP had lost from Singhbhum in Lok Sabha also and deliberately rumours were being spread. He said that as conspiracy bad name was being brought to them. Joba Manjhi said that BJP was weaken in Kolhan and is not able to digest the growth of the JMM and said that no MLA was in touch with BJP and she would be informing Shibu Soren about the incident.
Over the comments of JPCC chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon he said that discussions were held to project Hemant Soren as CM candidate of opposition in meeting with Rahul Gandhi and party will not speak with state level leaders in this regard as it was in touch with incharge for Jharkhand Congress and other leaders.
