Amit Shah’s Jharkhand visit cancelled

Ranchi: Jharkhand visit of BJP’s national president Amit Shah scheduled on September 3rd has been cancelled.

Addressing a press conference here State BJP General Secretary Deepak Prakash said that on the same day a prayer meet has been scheduled in the remembrance of former Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley, therefore, Mr Shah will not be able to come to Jharkhand. Welcoming the decision of the central government to implement the NRC in Assam he said that it was a long pending demand of the people of the area and now it will be beneficial for the locals of the area.

He said that in Jharkhand also there are many such districts in which illegal Bangladeshi immigrants have entered and the BJP stands with the demand of taking action against such elements.

He said that the two day visit of national working president JP Nadda has been highly successful and new strength has been added among the party workers.Mr Prakash said that the state was making rapid progress under Chief Minister Raghubar Das the state was making rapid progress which was evident from the huge turnout of the tribals at the party meeting at Gumla.

To a query he said that AJSU has been a natural ally of the BJP and under NDA the party will contest the elections in the state and on some seats if there are any issues than they would be easily sorted out with senior leaders of the party.
