DC chairs meeting of district mining

Ranchi: DC Rai Mahimpet Rey chaired the meeting of the governing council of the district mining foundation. Addressing the meeting he said that the Mamta Ghar to be set up in Khelari will be one of its first kind of projects in the state where special healthcare facilities will be provided to pregnant women.

He said that infrastructure in all the government schools in the area will also be improved apart from that there is a proposal to prepare for teachers bank under which arrangements of skill teacher for different subjects will be made apart from that arrangement of a mobile science laboratory for the students is also being made where students will get an opportunity to do experiments related to science.

Mr Rey said that apart from construction of libraries improvements would also be made in the women and child development area and in all the Anganwadi centres growth monitoring devices will be provided while the centres would be developed as model Anganwadi Kendra and a creche would be also set up in Khelari.
