People should be empowered with better use of public relations: Savita Sanger

Ranchi: Vice-chancellor of Jharkhand Rai University Savita Sanger said that the work of officials of the public relations department is not only to ensure the reach of the government schemes to the people and taking their reactions but it is their responsibility to empower the people.

Addressing a motivational workshop organized by the Information and Public Relations department at the Suchna Bhawan here she said that when the people are empowered than those who are sitting on the fringes of the society would be also able to come forward and participate in the activities of the government.

She said there was a need, to be honest with the work and also maintain discipline in the job as then only the true goal and success would be achieved further there was a need to understand the real purpose behind the work which is being done as it would give inspiration and will also lead to satisfaction
