Itki's Kulhi Panchayat head accused of physical abuse gets bail from High Court

Ranchi:  The High Court has provided bail facility to Vinay Oraon, head of Kulhi Panchayat of Itki block, who is in jail on charges of physically abusing a woman.

Vinay's bail plea was heard in the court of High Court judge Justice Pradeep Kumar Srivastava. Vinay's advocate Suraj Kishore Prasad presented his arguments in the court.

After which the court granted him bail on the condition of depositing two personal bonds of Rs 20,000 each.

The court has also put a condition for the bail that till the case is over, Mukhiya Vinay Oraon will be physically present in the trial court on all the dates and will not try to contact the witnesses related to this case.

A married woman had accused Vinay Oraon, the head of Kulhi Panchayat of Itki block, of physical exploitation.

In this case the woman had lodged an FIR in Bedo police station.
