Security Forces recovered 8 live IED bombs during search operation in Latehar

Latehar:  In Latehar, Naxalites had planned a major action before the elections. Regarding this, Lohra was laying IED bombs in the forest. However, a joint search operation was conducted by CRPF and Latehar Police. During this operation, 8 bombs were recovered, which were defused by the security forces.

CRPF has recovered IED bombs kept in eight different containers from Lohra forest near Morwai village of Barwadih police station area of the district. Vinod Kumar Kanojia, Second Commandant of CRPF 11th Battalion, said that a special operation was conducted on Monday on the instructions of Commandant Ved Prakash Tripathi. 

During this operation a bomb was recovered from the forest. After this, the bomb disposal team was called, which defused all the bombs. During the operation, CRPF police found suspicious objects kept in 8 different containers under a mountain in Lohra forest. Then the dog squad team investigated. After this it was revealed that the suspicious object was an IED bomb. Which is connected to a wire in series 

The soldiers cordoned off the entire area. After this the IED bomb was defused. Commandant Vinod Kumar Kanojia said that each container was of about one and a half kilos. The Naxalites had hidden the IED bomb in the forest to disturb the police.
