CM orders probe after miscreants misbehave with lady doctor of RIMS in Giridih

Ranchi: Miscreants misbehaved with a lady doctor posted at RIMS here who was travelling to Deoghar via Giridih and also beat up the driver of her vehicle after which she shared the incident on the Twitter following which Chief Minister Hemant Soren asked the Giridih DC and SP to probe the matter.

Post the complaint by the doctor Hemant Soren on his twitter handle wrote that the security of women especially women in paramount in the state. “ I regret the inconvenience you had to face,” he wrote and directed the district administration to conduct a probe and take necessary action.

On the other hand, Health Minister Banna Gupta on twitter wrote that post the incident he had tried to get in touch with her but she did not pick up the phone. He later directed the Giridih SP and Civil Surgeon to take necessary action. He asked the victim not to get worried as he was personally looking after the matter.

The Giridih Police following the directions of Chief Minister said that in the LWE Pirtand area for the security of the people travelling in the night jawans had been deployed. The jawans noticed that a car was speeding away on the roads whom they directed to stop but the driver instead of stopping the vehicle fled away.

Giridh Police said that on three occasions the car was asked to stop but the driver did not relent after which the vehicle was finally caught at Koldiha and the driver was asked about the reasons behind not stopping the car. In the incident two police jawans Rajendra Kumar and Kumar Vardaj has been suspended.
