BJP will struggle for the people of Jharkhand from roads to Parliament: Amit Shah

Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that post the massacre of tribals in Chaibasa the state government did not take any effective steps and if the law and order condition in Jharkhand continued to remain in the present form than the BJP will struggle for the people of Jharkhand from roads to assembly and also in parliament.

Addressing a function organised at the Jagannath Maidan of the state capital on the occasion of merger of Babulal Marandi led JVM-P with the BJP he said that a team of the party has submitted its report over the incidents in Chaibasa and claimed that he has never seen such horrific images before where men have been mercilessly beheaded their wife and children.

"It was Atal Bihari Vajpayee who created Jharkhand and it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who ensured the proper development of state, therefore, BJP will not allow the destruction of Jharkhand to happen," he said.

Mr Shah said that the BJP accepted the mandate given by the people of the state and assured that the party will work more when it is in opposition. He said that whenever the state government will bring any policy or programme which is aimed at the welfare of the people than the BJP will extend its full cooperation but it will not make any compromise on corruption, terrorism and extremism.

Mr Shah said that it was the Modi government that gave the people Ayushman Bharat Yojana which has enabled them to get their treatment done in renowned hospitals of the country as a sum of Rs 5 lakh is provided under the scheme. On the other hand, the wait for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is also over as in the Parliament Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the formation of a trust which will further take up the construction of a grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya he said.

The Union Home Minister said that it was the government of the BJP that scrapped the Article 370 and 35A and made Jammu and Kashmir stand together with the other regions of the country and claimed that all long pending problems before the nation are being solved under Modi rule.
