Chief Secretary reviews preparations for state foundation celebrations

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi held a high-level review meeting to assess the preparations for the state foundation day celebrations. In the meeting, it was decided that renowned singers Suresh Wadekar and Kavita Krishnamurthy will be giving the cultural performance while on the district level Bihu of Assam Kajari dance of Bihar Dandiya of Gujarat and performance by the
artists of West Bengal will also take place.

He asked the IPRD to show a small film on achievements in ODF and rural electrification and called for decoration at the government offices and at important spots of the city. In the meeting, it was instructed that adequate arrangements for power and sound supply drinking water and health would be made by the departments concerned and also asked to identify people who could be honoured on the occasion. In the meeting, the nature of foundation laying and inaugurating of schemes of the departments will be done.

The Chief Secretary also reviewed preparations for distribution of appointment letters distribution of deeds and assets among the people programmes related to the welfare of farmers ODF and electrification.
