Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be given the ‘Champion of Change’ award for his better performance as the peoples representative from Barhet and Dumka Vidhan Sabha areas.
In a function to be held on January 20 in Vigyan Bhawan of New Delhi former president Pranab Mukherjee will give the award to the Chief Minister.
Hemant on his part dedicated the award to the people of the state and saluted the masses of the two constituencies who gave him an opportunity to served them and said that he will always remain in debt to them for their cooperation.
An esteemed jury comprising former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court KG Balakrishnan and former judge of the Supreme Court Gyan Sudha Mishra selected Chief Minister Hemant Soren for the award.
