Ranchi: The winter in the state will further make the people shiver as the temperature is all set to further dip in the course of the next two-three days.
According to the local MET department, the temperature can go down by another 2-3 degree Celsius as the cold winds coming from the North-West region is directly impacting the state. On Friday also the sky was clear with bright sunshine however the cold win had increased the shiver among the people.
One or two places in the morning reported medium density fog. The minimum temperature was recorded at Kanke at 5.8 degree Celsius while the maximum was at Jamshedpur with 24.4 degree Celsius. The weather scientist said that the impact of western disturbance is over in Jharkhand and since the weather has cleared out, therefore, the temperature has fallen.
Over the next two days, the temperature in and around Ranchi is expected to remain between 8-9 degree Celsius with early morning fog. On December 21-22 cloud cover might be reported in the state.
