Raghubar accuses JMM of misleading people over domicile policy

Palamu/Chatra: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha of misleading the people over the issue of domicile policy and said that even when the party was in power it did not frame the policy and played with the future of youth.

Addressing a series of election meetings he said that it was the present state government that defined the domicile policy after which in five years 31,000 teachers and 13,000 policemen have been appointed in the state out of which 90 percent are locals and process for recruitment on 50,000 posts was still on.

He said that people should ask questions from the JMM as it had given writing that it would be forming the domicile policy within three months and withdrew support from the BJP and formed their own government but instead of coming out with the domicile policy it got busy in selling the sand of the state. Mr Das said that whenever the JMM comes into power it gets into minting money.

Mr Das asked the people not fall prey for politics of caste and community and pointed out the example of JMM which does politics in the name of tribals and also exploited them.

The Soren family did its own development while the tribals were left in the god's hand. He said that Jharkhand could have been carved out in 1993 itself but it was JMM which sold the identity of the state for Rs 2 crore.

The Chief Minister said that West Singhbhum and Giridih are two big districts and they would be bifurcated and apart from that work to make Panki a sub-division will also be done.
