Raghubar directs DCs to visit the areas, instructs to ensure coordination between government & people

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that post the formation of the government the development of the poor farmers and villages has been the priority for the state government and said that it should be the target of all to ensure that the development schemes reach to the person standing on the last row of the society.

Chairing a review meeting with all the DCs and divisional commissioners at the project building here he said that Luguburu Mahtosav which will be held in the month of December should be celebrated as a state level festival and asked the DC of Bokaro and DCs of the Santhal Pargana division to commence preparations in this regard.

He said that devotees reaching in the festival should be provided the best of the facilities as people from Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Nepal come in the event. He said that a successful organization of the function will help to improve the image of the state. Mr. Das said free of cost facility for the devotees should be also provided during the function.

The Chief Minister said that it has been decided to construct the Birsa Munda Museum in Ranchi as part of which from January 9 to 23 mud from all the villages of the state will be brought. He said that in the museum statue of all the great martyrs of the state will be put up. He asked the DCs to identify all such villages which belong to martyrs.
