Dreaded maoist Kundan Pahan seeks permission from court to contest polls

Ranchi: After Raja Peter dreaded maoist Kundan Pahan has knocked the doors of the court seeking its permission to contest the Assembly Elections in Jharkhand.

Kundan Pahan has filed a petition in this regard in the court of special NIA judge Navneet Kumar. In Ranchi and Khunti district a total of 58 cases are registered against the dreaded maoist who had surrendered before the Jharkhand Police in May 2017.

At the time of his surrender itself, Pahan had given ample indication that he was interested to join the political wagon. Pahan was wanted in a total of 128 cases including those related to the murder of DSP, Inspector and other policemen.
