Dumka (By our correspondent): JMM supremo and former Chief Minister Shibu Soren said that people were unhappy with the works and policies of the BJP rules centre and the state government as their problems have only increased and moreover those in power have failed completely to realize the hopes and aspirations of the people.
Talking to the press at his residence here he said that the party has commenced preparations to remove the BJP from the centre as well as the state and exuded confidence that in the next assembly elections his party will form a full majority government in the state. Over the suspense surrounding his plans to contest the Lok Sabha polls from some other constituency, he said that Dumka has been his ‘Karmbhoomi’ and will continue to remain so.
Over the talks surrounding the maha-gathbandhan in the state, he said that the party has authorized its executive president Hemant Soren to hold talks with the other opposition parties. He would be holding talks with them and keep the entire issue before the central committee after which a final decision would be taken on the alliance in the state.
JMM’s central general secretary Vijay Kumar Singh who was also present on the occasion said that an atmosphere has been built across the nation against the BJP and attempts of their leaders to divert the attention of the people from the core issues will never be successful. He said that the JMM would continue its fight for the Jal, Jungle, and Zameen of the state.
