Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that intentions and policy of the state government were good due to which investors are coming to the state.
Addressing the people after laying foundation stones for three industrial units in Budmu he said that the state government was slowly becoming efficient to create more and more jobs for the youth.
He said that there was a need to manufacture quality products and export the same from Jharkhand as it is very important for the economy of the state or the country.
He said that after 2014 efforts have been made to strengthen the economy of the state and the youth have been made skilled and have been linked with jobs. He said as part of the initiative in 2015 the industrial policy was formed due to which foundation of three industries are being laid in Budmu which would be creating employment for 20,000 youth in the area.
Mr Das said that in the days to come more units will be set up in the region which will be overall creating employment for 40000 people.
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand will be made a hub in the textile and footwear sector and even in the area of garment manufacturing the state has the potential to go above Bangladesh and to achieve all this the cooperation of the people with the government was a must.
He said that in Jharkhand regularly garments manufacturing units are being set up which is helping in women empowerment due to which now girls are being made skilled and linked with jobs. He said that in the garment sector 80 percent jobs would be given to the girls and twenty percent to the boys.
He said that in the garment manufacturing unit to come up in Budmu 600 trained girls will be provided employment by the company until the plant construction is completed, apart from that foundation has also been laid for Kishore export and Euro safety.
He said that overall on 50 acres of land apart from these three plants another 10 units are planned to be opened which would be providing better opportunities for employment for the people as the government was working with the target to provide employment or self-employment to every poor family in the state.
The Chief Minister said that due to the trained manpower and honest and hardworking human resource the investors are being drawn to the state and the garments manufactured in Jharkhand are now being exported to Europe America and England.
He also asked the trained youth to work with dedication and honesty so that they can make a name for the state by their skills.
