Ranchi: The Congress Party has promised to provide jobs in every home failing to do so it would be providing unemployment allowance.
Addressing the function former Union Minister and incharge for Party affairs in Jharkhand RPN Singh said that he was extremely excited to see the huge turnout at the venue and said that it was due to the party workers that the Congress party was standing strong in the state.
Attacking the state government he said that Jharkhand has the largest coal reserve in the country and on a daily basis the government of Raghubar Das was promised to the people to provide 24 hours of uninterrupted electricity supply but so far it has not fulfilled its promises.
He said that this was the fifth divisional level rally for the party and going by the enthusiasm it is clear that Congress would be forming the next government in the state.
He said that on one hand the BJP talks about providing corruption-free government on the other hand on the present state government of the state allegations of blankets scam food grains and dam scam have been leveled moreover thousands of people lost their jobs. He promised the people that the Congress party will work to provide jobs in every home of the state and if not it would be giving the people unemployment allowance.
On the other hand Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon while addressing the program said that if the Congress comes into power than loan waiver would be announced for the farmers and on the land which has been taken away from them if within 5 years no work is done on that land then it would be returned back to the farmers, apart from that stipends would be also provided to the students.
He also said that the state government has been a failure in every front and accused it of trying to end the CNT and the SPT acts to take away the land of the tribals. He said that the Jan Aakrosh rally was a reflection of broken roads irregular water and power supply and lack of correct payment to the farmers for their products.
Leader of the Legislature wing of the Congress party Alamgir Alam said that the state government has traveled in every corner of the state promising the farmers to double their income but nothing has been done for the them, similarly the promises made to the para teachers and workers of anganbadi are still to be fulfilled and said that if the Congress party comes in power then it would be working for the betterment of all the sections of the society.
Senior Congress leader Chandrashekhar Dubey also addressed the program during which he expressed his anguish and asked the state incharge and JPCC Chief to hold a meeting with the senior leaders and decide the future course of action.
He that people are now regretting for having voted for the BJP and are looking towards the Congress Party with a new hope.
Those who also spoke at the occasion included former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay Chaibasa MP Geeta Koda and other leaders of the party.
