HC rejects revised results for 6th JPSC

Ranchi: Dealing a blow to the state government the Jharkhand High Court rejected the revised results declared of the 6th state civil services exam conducted by JPSC and has asked the government to come out with the results according to the terms and conditions mentioned in the advertisement.

The court of acting Chief Justice HC Mishra and Justice Deepak Roshan announced the verdict in the case.

The court had on September 17th completed the hearing in the case and had kept its order reserved.

The verdict of the court came following a petition filed by one Pankaj Kumar Pandey who had said that after the start of the examination process changes were made in the terms and conditions and following the directions of the government changes were made in minimum qualification marks.

The 6th JPSC exam has been in the news since the time the results for the PT exams were declared for the first time in the year 2017.

After three amendments a revised result was declared by the state government in which more than 34,000 students had been declared pass however the latest verdict of the court has once again put the future of the students in dark.
