Heavy industries ministry approves 306.86 acres of land for state govt

Ranchi: On the initiative of Chief Minister Raghubar Das the union heavy industries ministry has approved to provide 306.86 acres of land in HEC premises.

Out of this 107.28 acres will be given free of cost to construct homes under PMAY while for 199.58 acres money will be paid by the state government.

An order in this regard has been issued by the Union Heavy Industries Ministry.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Heavy Industries Minister Arvind Ganpat Sawant for this.

He said that with the approval of land many people living in urban slums will be able to get benefits of PMAY. Mr Das said that the double engine government was synonymous with cooperation and coordination and said that with this initiative many schemes of the state government will be realized on the ground.

The Chief Minister had made an appeal for land during his visit to New Delhi in August. Mr Das has also congratulated resident Commissioner of Jharkhand Bhawan MR Meena and his personal KP Baliyaan for their efforts.
