JMM is the biggest exploiter of tribals alleges Raghubar

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has described JMM as the biggest exploiter of the tribals in the state.

Addressing a public meeting as part of the Johar Jan Aashirwad Yatra in Kolhan he said that those claim to be champion of the tribals have played with their development and have always misled the community. He alleged that the Soren family has captured land worth crores of the tribals at throwaway prices.

In his message to the tribal youth, he said that Hemant Soren had disrespected the tribal language as in the cabinet meeting chaired by him in 2013 the value of tribal language in JPSC was done away with.

He said that after the tribal youths narrated their problems to him the present government included 9 tribal languages in the JPSC so that the youth can get their due.

Mr Das said that JMM only remembers the tribals at the time of the elections and after elections work for the corporate houses. He said that JMM gave the right over sand ghats to a company of Mumbai while his government gave it to the gram Sabha.

Mr Das said that despite being a Santhal Hemant Soren did nothing for the Santhali Language whereas his government has ensured that the language is taught from classes 1 to 5 in government schools and even announcements in the Santhali Language are being made at railway stations.

He said that for teaching the children teachers are being appointed and till the permanent appointments are made the educated youth of the villages are being assigned the task to teach those children.

Mr Das recalled as to how a coalition government which was headed by an Independent as the Chief Minister did scams worth Rs 4000 crore. He asked the people to vote for a permanent government so that the process of development which started in 2014 continues in the state.

Mr Das said that it was due to the double engine government that without any discrimination the benefits of the schemes were reaching to all the people in the state and schemes were implemented for all-round development of the people. He asked the people to vote for the double engine government so that Jharkhand can become a strong and developed state.
