Need to make plastic free Jharkhand: Raghubar

Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has called upon the people to carry out their responsibility and make the state plastic-free.

On the occasion of Maha Ashtami the Chief Minister reached the Puja Pandal located at Sitaram Dera and offered his obeisance to the deity.

Upon seeing the Chief Minister the people reached to him and asked him to pose for photographs and selfies.

Without disappointing anyone he happily poses for the pictures. However, as soon as he comes out of the pandal he saw a plastic bottle which he immediately picked up and urges people to fulfill their responsibilities to make the state plastic-free.

During his stay in Jamshedpur since Sunday morning, he went across numerous numbers of pandals and offered prayers to the deity and prayed for well being of all.

Earlier he took to Twitter to extend his greetings to the people on the occasion of Maha Ashtami and prayed to Maa Mahagauri to shower prosperity to all the people of the state.

He also visited the Puja Pandal at Kalindi Basti where he also showered his love for a baby girl. Mr. Das also visited Puja Pandal at Agrico and paid his obeisance to Goddess Durga.
