Raghubar asks pvt hospitals to come forward to join Ayushman Bharat Yojana for benefit of poor

Jamshedpur (By our Correspondent): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das chaired a high-level meeting with officials of Tata Motors during which the issue of providing health care benefits to people under the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Telco and Tata Main
Hospital was taken up.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed that on a daily basis many people come for treatment in the hospitals who are neither employees of the Tata Steel or its affiliated units and are actually non-employees. Mr Das said that the state government will also provide funding for the infrastructure and money for treatment of 50 percent non-employees will also be given by
the government. He said that people have to face lots of trouble for the treatment of diseases and are even forced to sell their homes and ornaments and keep mortgage their land and field. He said that realising the pain of the people the Prime Minister has launched the ambitious health care plan so that poor do not feel helpless at times of need. Mr Das said that cooperation of the private hospitals was also needed so that the dream of the Prime minister can be realised and even poor people can get best of medical facilities. He said that people who would be covered under the scheme not only will help to save their money but once the payment is made to the hospital than they can also develop better infrastructure at the hospitals.

He said that to solve the problems of the hospitals under the scheme a state level committee under the Chief Secretary has been formed and said that in case any problem is faced in the admission of patients and their treatment than a solution to the problems will be solved.
