Those opposed to scrapping of Article 370 should go to Pakistan and become CM there: Raghubar

Deoghar: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that all those leaders of the JMM and the Congress who are opposing the scrapping of Article 370 and 35 A should go to Pakistan and become Chief Minister and MLA in that country.

Addressing a public meeting in Sarath of this district as part of his Johar Jan Aashirwad Yatra he said that the central government scrapped the articles as it was creating obstacles in the development of Jammu and Kashmir however the move was opposed by leaders of JMM and Congress and they are supporting the anti-national statements.

“I call on those supporters that they should go to Pakistan and become Prime Minister, Chief Minister and MLA in that country,” he said and asked the people to make sure that such parties are not able to open their account in the Santhal Pargana region.

The Chief Minister said that in the last five years the present state government has been honestly working for the welfare of the people as power was the means of serving the people and not reaping individual benefits.

He said that in order to remove the unemployment from the state it was important that apart from degree the youth are also made skilled therefore it has been decided to open skill development centres in every block of the Santhal Pargana region where the youth would be trained and made skilled so that they can be linked with jobs or self-employment so that they can become economically stable.

Mr Das said that similar to Lok Sabha polls when the people rejected the family and dynasty politics and selected a young man Sunil Soren as their MP similarly in the Vidhan Sabha elections JMM which does family politics should be shown the road to Bokaro.

He said that JMM and its leaders have exploited the sentiments of the tribals and mislead them. He asked the people to cast their votes wisely as when they elect a local as their representative than he would be always available for their needs rather than voting for someone who lives in Bokaro.
