Cabinet approves Rs 308 crore for paying increased honorarium to para teachers from January 2019

Ranchi: The state government has approved an additional sum of Rs 308 crore for paying the increased honorarium to the para teachers with effect from January 2019 to the Jharkhand Education Project Council. A decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the Project building here.

Among another key decision, it was decided to get CBSE affiliation for Netarhaat School while amended proposal to set up a plastic park in Devipur of Deoghar district was also approved. Under the centre sponsored comprehensive handloom cluster development programme the mega handloom cluster approved in Godda has been given the go ahead in a revised form.

It was also decided that a sum of Rs 19 lakh will be provided to the Amruta Foundation Jamshedpur for running the Mukhyamantri Canteen Yojana in East Singhbhum district following an MOU with Food and Civil Supplies Department. The money will be provided from revolving fund.

Further in Ranchi also to run the Mukhyamantri Canteen Yojana a sum of Rs 11.03 crore has been approved for the special Touchstone foundation.

In a key decision the state government has also approved amendment scheme for rehabilitation of people hit by any type of crime. The state government has also decided to set up Jharkhand compensatory afforestation fund and Jharkhand compensatory afforestation fund management and planning authority and formation of its working committee has been also approved from retrospective effect.

It was also decided to designate district and additional sessions judge One and district and sessions judge two level judges to look into cases of cyber fraud in Jamtara, Deoghar, Giridih, Dhanbad, Palamu and Jamshedpur.The cabinet has also decided that 782 towers located in LWE area will be developed as high speed internet hub for which earlier contract was awarded to BSNL but due to the Lok Sabha polls and keeping in mind the future elections instead of 31 earlier selected places new 130 places located in Shadow area would be developed as hotspot.

The cabinet has also approved transfer policy for principals posted in primary, higher primary and higher middle schools of the state. The government has also decided to appoint Sawan Saye, Bhagwan Das and Triveni Nath Sahu as members of JPSC.

In a key decision, it was decided to dispose off the pending criminal cases against the MPs and MLAs of the state two special courts of district and session judge would be formed in Ranchi and Dhanbad.

The formation of Jharkhand State poison possession and sales rule of 2019 was also approved. It was agreed to provide the benefits of 7th pay commission to the chairman and other members of JPSC.

Further, it was also decided to sack the than SDO Chas Xavier Herenj from job.
