Construction of ISBT and transport nagar to commence in Ranchi and Dumka in September

 Ranchi: The construction of Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) and transport Nagar will commence in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Dumka in the month of September.

Secretary of the Urban Development Department Ajay Kumar Singh issued necessary directions in this regard to the officials while reviewing the progress in the execution of projects in the transport sector by JUDCO.

He said that at any cost work for construction of bus terminal and transport Nagar should commence in September and the work for DPR and tender process should also be finished in the same month.

Over the construction of smart road project in Ranchi, he said that it should be ensured during road construction that travelers and vehicle drivers do not face any problems. He also directed the for Kantatoli flyover the diversion at Bahu Bazaar be built in next 15 days.

Mr Singh also asked the officials to commence deliberations on the design of the proposed flyovers in Argora, Lalpur and Karamtoli as soon as possible and also instructed to get the DPR done for the projects which are proposed in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Dumka. He asked the officials to complete on a priority basis the road construction projects in Medninagar and Dhanbad.
