Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das while reviewing the functioning of the power department said that such officials who are not able to work should be retired. He also directed to suspend the Superintendent engineer of Dhanbad of power transmission who was missing from job for last three weeks without proper information and also asked to immediately remove the Dhanbad GM.
He said that for Ranchi after July 31 no further extension will be allowed and said that in all the other districts whether it is the area of transmission or any other issue it should be removed within 3 months. Mr Das said that in every home has reached and those homes which are left there also power should reach by September. He said that in the entire state work on power production, transmission line and sub stations are on so that in future people of Jharkhand can get uninterrupted power supply.
Those present in the meeting also included Chief Secretary DK Tiwari, Development Commissioner Sukhdeo Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Finance KK Khandelwal, Principal Secretary of Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal and others were present on the occasion
