CM directs to issue tender work with full transparency

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed to ensure full transparency in the disposal of tenders and said that at no point any contractor should feel that discrimination has been made in the system. Reviewing the functioning of the road construction department and building construction department at the project building here year he directed to form such a system so that the entire process is completed in a transparent manner and has instructed all the departments to follow his directions in this regard.

He said that people would be soon able to get rid of the jam which is caused in the underpass in Dhanbad over Gaya Bridge as a no objection certificate has been received from the railway to build and another underpass and directed officials to complete the DPR soon and said that it in Chatra Gumla Giridih and Lohardaga bypass road should be formed. The Chief Minister said that despite 14 years of state creation Jharkhand did not have its own Vidhan Sabha building but it in his 10 year it’s Foundation was laid and with the corporation of the people all other opticals were removed in its construction and this assembly would be completed by September 15th and would be ready for dedication to the people.

He said that quality in building construction and transparency should be maintained. He said that in the next 3 months 41 schemes of roads and bridges would be completed in the state and would be dedicated for the people which would include 400 kilometers of roads and 50 bridges and directed officials to accord importance to quality construction for bridges and roads in the state. In the meeting, it was informed that the average density of road on per 1000 kilometers has increased to 157.81 kilometers. Those present in the meeting also included Development Commissioner Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Barnwal and others.
