Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday said that people of the country and the state have voted for development and nationalism and to end dynasty family and politics of appeasement.
Addressing a workers Thanksgiving programme organised at his residence here he said that people have trusted upon the leadership of Modi ji and gave massive majority to the NDA.
However he said that mission 2019 has not been completed yet and for good governance and development in the state once again more than 60 seats needed to be won in the Assembly Elections. He said that the people of the state have understood the benefits of a double engine Government and there was a need to go among the people with the Welfare programmes of the state government. He said people have full faith over the BJP and it was due to the efforts of the workers and their hard work that the mission of Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar was realised.
Mr Das said that the party has karishmatic hardworking and farsighted leadership and an army of gross of dedicated workers due to which it has been able to achieve such a massive success. He said that workers of the BJP politics for serving the country and their target is to bring smile on the faces of the poor. The chief minister thanked Prime Minister Modi and national president Amit Shah for their massive win in the country and also in Jharkhand on behalf of the party workers and the people of the state.
He said that under the Mukhyamantri Ashirwad Yojana the sum in the bank account of 51 lakh farmers would be given into installments in the month of June and October so that the farmers are not dependent on money lenders to buy seeds and fertilizers. He said that Jharkhand was fortunate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving on June 20th to participate in the international yoga day programme to be held on June 21st. He asked the party workers to participate in large number during the programs to be organised at the panchayat block and district level on the occasion of the Yoga Divas. He directed the District Committee Vidhan Sabha core committee and Mandal committee to organise meeting and commence preparations.
The Chief Minister said that keeping into account the problems being faced in refilling of the gas cylinder the government was seriously contemplating to provide one more gas refill to the poor and pointed that as per plan of the party the work of distribution of identity cards among the party workers has commenced and in the first phase it would be distributed in 39 assembly areas. State BJP President Laxman Giluwa said that it was due to the hard work put in by the workers that the party was able to achieve so much success in the Lok Sabha polls and said that they should rest only after the second phase of mission 2019 is completed which is to get more than 60 seats in the Assembly Elections and form a strong government in the state.
He said that the performance in the Lok Sabha polls show that BJP has lead on 67 Assembly seats and the same performance should be repeated in the the Assembly Elections. He pointed that the party was also doing analysis of why it lost on the two Lok Sabha seats. The event was also attended by organisation General Secretary Dharampal Singh, all the newly elected MPS of the party, MLAs, ministers in the state cabinet and other senior office bearers and party functionaries.
