Cleanliness will bring Development says Raghubar to villagers

Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that there is no bigger service than sanitation. While making aware the villagers, he said that government alone cannot bring development but for this everyone will have to understand their responsibility.  The Chief Minister was addressing Choupal at Chametu village; Latehar under the Sanitation is Service campaign running from 15 September to 2 October. On this occasion, the Chief Minister himself cleaned the village and gave a message of sanitation.

The Chief Minister said that for the purpose of further accelerating the cleanliness drive, the state government is conducting cleanliness awareness program from October 2, 2018 to January 30, 2019 in the entire state. Construction of 86 percent toilets in the state has been completed and rest will be completed by October 2.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is working on a water supply scheme of five thousand crores. By 2022, every household of Jharkhand will be given clean water through the pipeline. Deep Boring and Solar Power has been started through Clean Jaladhara Yojana to provide water to the toilets.

The Chief Minister said that that 30 percent of the amount of mining will be spent for the development of mining areas. The golden card is not required for Ayushman Bharat. Those who have ration card can also avail the benefit of this scheme.

The Chief Minister said that children up to the sixth standard will be provided cycle. He said that at present 38 thousand schools have been given benches and desks. The government is also working to provide housing to all the poor till 2022. 

During the direct dialogue, dozens of villagers, including Aditya Prajapati, Sangeeta Devi, Amina Khatun, Suga Khatun, and others demanded rehabilitation before the displacement. On which, Chief Minister Das said that the government will settle the displaced ones. The Chief Minister instructed CCL, CMD, Shri Gopal Singh to give priority to displaced people in mining work. 

The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to allot the lease by putting camp at the earliest.

The Chief Minister gave two bike Ambulance to the village. Five hundred gas cylinders and stoves were distributed by the chief minister. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is the first state in the country where the stove along with the cylinders is also being given to the beneficiaries for free.

CCL's CMD Gopal Singh, Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, SP Prashant Anand, Deputy Development Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, Additional Collector Nelson Ayon Bage, DRDA Director Sanjay Bhagat and others were present.
