CM directs officials to ensure that maximum farmers get benefit of PM-Kissan Yojana

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das held a video conferencing with the DC’s of all the districts and directed them to ensure that farmers of Jharkhand get the maximum benefit of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Samman Nidhi (PM-Kissan) Yojana.

He said that all the DC’s would be themselves supervising the implementation of this scheme and said that no two small and marginalized farmer should be left out from the ambit of this scheme. He said that by March 1 name address bank details
account number and Aadhaar number of the farmers should be uploaded and those who do not have the Aadhaar number
there and the enrollment number and mobile number should be uploaded. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 24th would be launching the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Samman Yojana under which small and marginal farmers would be every year getting Rs 6000 under direct benefit scheme and this fund would be given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each on an interval of 4 months and
data of all the farmers has to be uploaded on pm kisan.nic.in. 

The Chief Minister said that this would help to increase the income of the farmers and small expenditures required in agriculture would also be fulfilled. Mr Das also expressed his gratitude towards the Prime Minister and said that this would encourage farming and would increase the income of the farmers. Those present on the occasion also included Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi Development Commissioner DK Tiwari Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal and Secretaries of various other departments.
