Ranchi: The Mahagathbandhan between Congress, JMM, JVM(P) and RJD for the Lok Sabha polls in Jharkhand has been
finalized in New Delhi. Media in charge for JPCC Rajesh Thakur today said that a consensus has been reached among the parties
for the Lok Sabha polls in Jharkhand and this Mahagathbandhan has also received the consent of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.
He said that Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Hemant Soren met Mr Gandhi at New Delhi in which incharge for party affairs in Jharkhand RPN Singh and Jharkhand Congress chief Dr Ajay Kumar were also present. Mr Thakur said that it has been agreed that in Lok Sabha polls Congress party would be in the leadership role and contest the maximum number of seats while in the Assembly polls
it would be the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha which would be in the driver’s seat and contest the maximum number of seats.
