Ranchi: The Jharkhand Government has decided to provide the benefits of the seventh pay commission to the teachers and officials working in the government universities and colleges of the state with effect from January 2016. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here.
It was decided to submit the annual report of the State Information Commission for the year 2014 2015 and 2016 in the assembly. The government has also decided to give service extension to the 26 assistant engineers and 77 junior engineers for execution of PMGSY under the Rural Development Department (Rural Works Department) for the period 2018-19.
The government has also approved second revised administrative approval for a proposal worth Rs 8.35 crore for building the mega sports complex in Dhanbad. It was also decided to give land in Potka circle area of West Singhbhum district at a payment of Rs 2.45 lakh with the option renewing for a period of 30 years to Om Sai Section and Welfare Institue of Baridih Jamshedpur while a payment of Rs 6.347 crore as consultancy fee for TCS for MMPCT project was also sanctioned by the cabinet.
It was also decided to constitute posts and hire manpower from outsourcing for the deaf and dumb and blind special high and middle school. The Jharkhand State University Amendment Act 2018 was also approved from retrospective effect. In a key decision, the government has decided to give 49.41 decimal of land in different wards of Jamshedpur circle area of West Singhbhum district to GAIL India Ltd at a payment of Rs 5.68 crore for the Jamshedpur Urban Gas distribution project for a period of 30 years with an option of renewing the contract.
On the other hand it was decided to give 5.492 acres of land in Godda Sadar circle area to Union Railway Ministry for construction of Godda Pirpainti new BG line. [29/01, 21:08] Abhishek Uni: Further under the center sponsored Creche scheme for the working mothers who have children between six months to 6 years directives for providing the facilities of Creche and day care facilities have been approved.
