More rains predicted in Ranchi and other districts of Jharkhand

Ranchi: The sky in the capital Ranchi is likely to remain cloudy over the course of the next few days also. On Monday light rain also occurred in many areas denting the festive spirit of Durga Puja.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain the same in Ranchi for the next four days. At the same time, there is a possibility of a drop of (3-4) degrees in the maximum temperature in the state during the next two days. After this, the temperature is likely to increase gradually (2-3) degrees in the next two-three days.

At the same time, during the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in some areas of Garhwa, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Bokaro including the capital Ranchi. Along with this, there is also a possibility of a strong wind blowing at some places in these districts. During this, the wind speed is 30-40 kmph which can last up to an hour.

The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to remain alert. In the last 24 hours, there was light rain in many districts of the state. Heavy rainfall has also been recorded at some places. The highest rainfall of 68.6 mm was recorded in Giridih’s Barkisuriya.

The highest temperature is 34 degrees was recorded in MO Jamshedpur, while the lowest temperature of 20.9 degrees has been recorded in Gumla KVK. On Tuesday it will be generally cloudy, with moderate rainfall, the maximum temperature will be around 26 degrees and the minimum temperature around 22 degrees.

Wednesday also it will be generally cloudy with two or more spells of light to moderate rain with temperatures hovering between 26-22 degrees. Thursday will be generally cloudy, with light to moderate rainfall once or twice, a maximum temperature of 28 degrees minimum temperature 22 degrees.
