Ranchi: The whole country remembered Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries on Sunday.
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti at Tiril Ashram in Ranchi, Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid tributes by garlanding the statue of Bapu.
Along with this, on the occasion of this birth anniversary, former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri was also observed by the Governor by garlanding his portrait.
Earlier, Governor Ramesh Bais also paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri by garlanding their portraits at Raj Bhawan.
