Chief Minister launches CM Sukanya Yojna from Chaibasa on National Girl Child Day

The basic purpose of Chief Minister Sukanya Yojna is the empowerment of girls for bright tomorrow. Happy Girl Child Day! This woman power is the power of the state, the contribution of women power cannot be denied in the development of 4 years. Today, girls are not less than anyone in any field. Girls have won the maximum medal in sports. Our daughter is our pride. Do not discriminate between son and daughter. Chief Minister Raghubar Das said this in the launch program of Chief Minister Sukanya Yojna on Thursday at Tata College Grounds, Chaibasa. 

The Chief Minister said that the aim of Sukanya Yojna is to empower girls, increase their confidence, stop child marriage, and make them independent. Five thousand rupees will be deposited in the bank account of the mother of the girl child born under the scheme. At the time of 5000 rupees will be given in enrollment in class first 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th. When girl child will complete 18 years, 10 thousand rupees will be given. Thus, from birth to 20 years of age 40 thousand rupees will be given in 7 instalments. If the girl wants to get married, she will get 30 thousand rupees under the Chief Minister Kanyadan scheme. 27 lakh families of Jharkhand will be covered with this scheme.

The Chief Minister said that the killing of the fetus is a sin. The sex ratio of the state is fine but both of them have to be equivalent. People of tribal society do not discriminate between son and daughter but educated people do such things more. Doctors also keep this in mind that they do not give information to anyone through ultrasound otherwise they will be held guilty and convicted of going to jail. The Chief Minister appealed to the girls that if anyone forces you to marry before the age of 18, inform it on 181. 

The Chief Minister said that the school has not been opened for the teachers but for the children. It is being ensured that teachers of every subject remain in the school. The merger of schools in remote rural and hilly areas will be done. Construction of medical college will also start soon. 

The Chief Minister said that under the Chief Minister Krishi Ashirvad Yojna, financial assistance of Rs. 5000 per acre is being provided to farmers. Under this scheme, farmers of less than 5 acres land will come. With grant farmers will be able to purchase fertilizers, seeds and other agricultural requirements. The government will spend Rs 2 thousand 250 crores on this scheme. Today the state is proud of the fact that in 2014 the agricultural growth rate of -4.5% has increased to + 14%. Seeing the enthusiasm of farmers, the state government sent 100 farmers to Israel and introduced them to the modern agricultural system. Every year 100 farmers will be sent to Israel and the Philippines so that the farmers of the state can prosper. 

Urban Development Minister, C.P. Singh said that Chief Minister Sukanya Yojna is being launched from the land of Kolhan. This is the evidence that the Chief Minister fulfils what he says. The government has given power to 30 lakh households in 4 years, which did not happen after independence.

MP Laxman Giluwa said that in the last 4 years, many works and schemes have been introduced for the welfare of women and the girl child. The Chief Minister Sukanya Yojna will bring prosperity to girls of the state. Similarly, work is being done to benefit the farmers under Chief Minister Krishi Samridhi Yojna.

Under the Chief Minister Sukanya Yojna, 87 thousand applications were received from the entire state. On January 3, 2019, the scheme was approved in the cabinet, the resolution letter was released on January 4 and today 21 days later the scheme was started from the land of Kolhan. Total 15 thousand 61 applications were received from the Kolhan region, 6 thousand 700 were sanctioned, about 5 thousand beneficiaries were selected and the amount of 2.50 crore was paid.

Chief Minister under the Sukanya Yojna gave certificate to Ankita Purti, Erwa Karwa, Kanti Hembram, Sukhmati Kudada, GGeeta Devgaam, Tripti Vishwakarma, Manju Khandait from Chaibasa, Radhika Sabar, Rinki Gope, Ina Bhagat, Bhawani Kevat from East Singhbhum, Bhagyavati Behra, Priyanka, Padihari Santoshi Saradr from Saraikela.
