Ranchi: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) has accused the state government of once again misleading the people over the power scenario in the state. Party’s central spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh said Chief Minister Raghubar Das had assured to provide 24 hours of power across the state by December 2018 itself which he has now extended till October 2019.
He said that the people of the state do not have any faith on the words of the Chief Minister as on several other occasions also he has made a U-turn on his claims. Mr Singh said that when the people of state are grappling with acute power shortage in winters the situation will be far more worse in summers when the demand for power is also on high.
He said that on Saturday load shedding was done in capital for 5-6 hours while in 14 district power was not present on Friday as the second unit of TNVL had stopped functioning. He said that every time when the situation goes wrong the department claims to solve the issue in few days and create an eye wash.
