Ranchi: Draupadi Murmu the NDA’s candidate in the presidential election, is coming to Jharkhand on July 4. During this, she will meet BJP and also meet AJSU and other party leaders to ensure victory.
Jharkhand BJP has started preparations as soon as the news of Draupadi Murmu’s arrival in Jharkhand was received. Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha, the second candidate in the presidential election both have relationships with Jharkhand.
Draupadi Murmu is coming to Jharkhand for the first time after filing her nomination for the post of President on June 24. Draupadi Murmu became the 9th governor of the state in May 2015. She had replaced former governor Syed Ahmed.
She has the distinction of becoming the first woman governor of Jharkhand.
