The treasure of the origin of human life is hidden in the land of Mandro: Chief Minister

Sahibganj: Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the world-class Fossils Park and Fossils Museum-cum- Auditorium at Mandro on Thursday and he himself also visited the Fossil Park. Speaking on the occasion he said how did the earth originate, what was the basis of the creation of humans and other living beings and how did human life develop. The history of Mandro-Rajmahal hills are a witness to this.

The Chief Minister said that the history of the hills, trees and rocks of Mandro is as old as the time of the arrival of living beings on the earth and perhaps even older. He said that this Fossils Park will not only become a special attraction for tourists but will also give a new direction to the research of geologists and students.

He said that there are only a few places in the whole world that tell the history of the creation of human life on earth and in this, the land of Mandro located in Sahibganj is in the first place. Such a treasure is hidden in the hills and forests here which will be rarely seen anywhere he said adding that the fossils here contain the entire history of the creation of the universe in itself and let the whole country and the world know about it. He further said that to preserve the fossils here it has been given the form of Fossil Park.

On this occasion MP Vijay Kumar Hansda, APCCF of Forest Department NK Singh, Regional Forest Conservator Satish Chandra Rai and many other officials were present.
