Preparation to open AIIMS in Ranchi: On instructions of PMO process land identification starts

Ranchi: Preparations have started to open All India Institue of Medical Sciences in Ranchi. For this, the Industry Director of Jharkhand has written a letter to the Health Secretary. In this, land has been asked to be identified for the establishment of AIIMS in Ranchi. Jitendra Kumar Singh has said in his letter that the Prime Minister’s Office has considered the establishment of AIIMS. Therefore the land for the establishment of AIIMS should be identified and informed accordingly as after the land is identified further action will be taken. Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth had urged the Prime Minister to open AIIMS in Ranchi on 28 July 2021.

He had told the Prime Minister that Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand due to this a large number of people from all over the state come here for treatment. Apart from this citizens from the neighboring states of Jharkhand also come to Ranchi for their treatment.

The establishment of AIIMS is necessary for the purpose of providing better treatment, at less cost to the citizens in Ranchi, he had said. If AIIMS opens in Ranchi then it will be second in Jharkhand as currently the AIIMS is being operated in Deoghar which has bee inaugurated this year itself.
