JPSC to conduct Joint Assistant Engineer main exam between Oct 22-24 across 18 centres

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission will conduct the Joint Assistant Engineer, ( Civilian/Mechanical ) Direct Recruitment Main Competitive Examination in different shifts across 18 different exam centres from
October 22-24. 

In order to conduct the examination in a malpractice-free environment at these examination centers, deputation of magistrates along with police force and police officers has been done by Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Ranchi and Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi. In view of the possibility of disturbing law and order by crowding the examination center, prohibitory orders have been issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ranchi within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centers. 

As per the orders gathering of 5 or more than 5 persons at one place except for officials/employees engaged in government work, government programs and funerals is prohibited. Dealing with any kind of sound-amplifying device, carrying any kind of weapon like a gun, rifle revolver, bomb, gunpowder etc except the officials/employees engaged in government work is also
banned.

Further Carrying any kind of harvey-weapon like stick-standa, arrow-bow, gadasa spear etc except the officials/employees engaged in government work, organizing any kind of meeting or general meeting is also prohibited.

The prohibitory orders will come into effect in the radius of 200 meters of the examination centers from 1:00 AM to 07:00 PM on 22 October and from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM on 23 October and on 24 October it will be effective from 07:00 AM to 08:00 PM.
