Cabinet decisions: Contract of bell based teachers extended in universities

Ranchi: The state government on Tuesday decided to extend the contract of the bell-based teachers teaching in the universities of the state till March 31, 2022.

A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. A total of 17 proposals of various departments were approved in the cabinet.

Service extension has been given to bell-based teachers in various universities and colleges of the state.  The contract of bell-based teachers in the university has been extended till 31 March 2022.  It has been approved in the cabinet meeting. The contract was expiring on 30 September.

Also, in the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to appoint 25 new Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs) in the state.  24 are already working in the state.  For the appointment of MVI, the district is divided into three categories A, B and C.  There will be 3 appointments in A, 2 in B and 1 in C.

In the cabinet meeting, approval was given for the construction of Transport Nagar at Sukurhutu in Kanke police station area of ??Ranchi.  CM Hemant Soren has already given his approval.  Transport Nagar will be prepared on EPC model in 48 acres of land in Sukurhatu.  It will be prepared with an investment of Rs 113 crore 24 lakh.

Among other important decisions of the cabinet, approval was given to transfer 58 acres of land from Urban Development and Housing Department to Jharkhand State Housing Board Ranchi free of cost for developing a residential colony at Dumma in Deoghar.

Approval was given to constitute a sub-divisional court in Chandil sub-division of Seraikela-Kharsawan. Further, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will be established on 2.34 acres of land in Karra of Khunti.  For this, approval was given for free land transfer with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
