CM directs to provide medical kits to Covid patients in home isolation

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday directed to provide medical kits to Coronavirus patients who are living in home isolation.

Chairing a high-level review meeting at his residence here he said that the medical kits should consist of medicines, oxy meter and mask etc. He also asked to make arrangements of pulse oxymeter in all anganwadi centers. To sort out the issue of lack of medical staff in the hospitals he said such trained youth of the state who have done a course in paramedical should be recruited on contract basis.

He said that to sort out the issue of lack of medical staff in dedicated Covid hospitals in districts and Covid care centre with proper planning hiring should be done. The Chief Minister said that all possible steps should be taken to increase the number of oxygen-supported beds in the hospitals while arrangements of beds in ICU should be also proper.

Hemant Soren said that Hospital management should also work with proper planning for treatment of Covid patients and asked the officials to make arrangements of oxygen plants in hospitals and also make efforts to ensure the availability of Redmisivir.

The Chief Minister said that every day the number of Covid patients is rapidly increasing in the state and from areas where more cases are coming special eye should be maintained. He said that it should be made sure that the infected person does not face any problem.

During the meeting, Health Secretary informed the Chief Minister regarding the present situation of Coronavirus in the state.

Those present in the meeting included Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, Development Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh and others were present.
