Ranchi: The Ranchi civil court ordered to issue summon against Congress president Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case. The court of sub-divisional judicial magistrate Ajay Kumar Gudiya ordered to issue the summon in the case which was lodged by a worker of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha.
The working committee member of BJYM Naveen Jha had registered the case accusing Mr Gandhi for making an objectionable statement against BJP national president Amit Shah. The complaint had described the comments as an aim to dent the image of the nation’s largest political party. The complainant in his case had mentioned that in his speech on March 18, 2018 the Congress president had made objectionable comments against Mr Shah.
