Weather to change from Thursday onwards

Ranchi: The weather in the state is likely to change from Thursday onwards.

The MET department has predicted that from January 28 and 29 mild cloud cover will take place in the state and medium range of rainfall is also likely to take place. During this period the maximum temperature will remain between 24-28 degrees while the minimum will remain under 11-14 degrees.

As per the MET department on January 28 the middle regions of the state including Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Khunti and Gumla and north western areas including Latehar, Garhwa, Chatra, Lohardaga and Palamu will receive rainfall coupled with thunderstorms.

The weather department has said that with change in the wind directions changes were happening and from January 28 the winds is likely to blow from South-west direction.

In the last 24 hours the weather has remained normal in the state with Chaibasa recording the maximum temperature at 30.4 degrees while Giridih was minimum at 9.2 degrees.
