Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum Police has busted a gambling den which was being operated in Shashtri Nagar Block B under Kadma Police Station area.
A team led by Jamshedpur City SP Subhash Chandra Jaat conducted the raids at the spot after which panic spread among the gamblers. From the arrested Rs 10,000 in cash, mobile phones have been recovered.
Police sources said that the prime accused in the case Bhola had been running the operating den for quite some time and based on a secret tip-off the raid was conducted during which a dozen were nabbed while many others somehow managed to flee. Many bikes have been also recovered from the spot.
