Weapons and explosives recovered from Maoist den in Jharkhand

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Huge quantity of explosives and weapons were recovered from a Maoist den in Jharkhand’s Palamau district on Friday. According to Palamau, Superintendent of Police, Indrajeet Mahta the weapons and explosives were recovered from Jagdishpur locality of the district during a search operation.

The weapons and explosives were recovered in a joint operation of the state police and CRPF. Police recovered nine form of guns and pistols, 85 packet of Gelatin powder, 50 metre codex wire, detonators, seven Maoist photographs, Maoist literature, banner and other things. The recovered weapons include three 315 bore rifles, four 12 bore rifles and two country-made pistols. The weapons and explosives were kept inside the earth by the Maoist Guerrillas.
