Ranchi: Jharkhand Congress Chief and Finance Minister Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that soon justice would be meted out against the decision of the centre for commercial coal mining.
Dr Oraon said that the Supreme Court has given a notice to the Union Government to reply over the petition of the Jharkhand Government in four weeks time. He said that to ensure benefits for the corporate friends of the BJP the centre has decided to commence commercial coal mining.
Dr Oraon said amid the Coronavirus crisis when the demand of coal has reduced globally, international flights have been suspended than in the name of global tenders the BJP has taken an unfortunate decision to ensure benefits of its corporate friends.
He said that before starting the auction process no suggestions or discussions was held with the state government and neither the interests of the state were taken into consideration. He said that the one-sided decision of the centre was an attack on the federal structure.
