Ranchi: On Monday most of the districts received rainfall and thunderstorms while on the other hand 9 deaths have been reported due to lightning.
In Ranchi district 2 people lost their lives while in Khunti, Giridih and Dhanbad districts 1 person each lost their lives. In Palamu 4 people lost their lives.
A report from Gumla district said that it rained in the district for two hours due to which trees were uprooted. In Giridih district a person died due to lightning while in Khunti in Palsa village under Karra block another person died.

A person each in Tamar and Silli block of Ranchi district died due to lightning. In Dhanbad also a person died due lightning in Gomoh.
On the other hand, 4 people also lost their lives in separate police station of Palamu district. A person each died in Chattarpur, Hussainbad, Naudiha and Tarhasi Police Station areas.
