Tribal outfits hold Raj Bhawan march alleging violation of 5th schedule

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Members of tribal organizations on Wednesday staged a Raj Bhawan march protesting against the violation of the provisions mentioned in the 5th schedule. Earlier a procession was also taken out from the Morhabadi Ground which reached at the Raj Bhawan in which a large number of villagers especially those from the tribal community had participated. Later
a meeting was also held at the spot which was addressed by a social worker and convener of the committee Dayamani
Barla who accused all the political parties who have ruled the state for violating the provisions mentioned in the 5th schedule.

She said that under the present BJP regime the inflation has increased while the Jal Junglee and Zameen have been sold to the corporate house and in the polls of 2019 the people will teach lesson to the people. Ms Barla said that in the name of momentum Jharkhand hundreds of acre of land was given at free of cost to the capitalist. Addressing the people Jerom Jerald Kujur said that in the present government the work of revision of land is being on the basis of which khatiyaan would be formed which means the
traditional rights of the adivasis and the moolvasis and farmers would automatically end.

The meeting was also addressed was Kumari Mardy, Raju Lohra, Father Steyn Swami and other social workers Later a delegation also met the Governor and handed her a memorandum in support of their various demands including implementation of CNT and SPT Acts and the provisions of 5th schedule  be strictly implemented.
